Sometimes it is possible not to make bus reservation for Osaka. Ferry tickets can be taken few minutes before ferry departure. If you buy your bus ticket with your ferry ticket, you may get a good discount.
Orange ferry- It is convenient and comfortable to travel by Ferry. The ferry for Matsuyama is available at Nanko Ferry Terminal (don't confuse with Osakako-International port) of Osaka on 10.30 pm. It reaches to Toyo port of Niihama in next morning at 6.10 am. There is bus to Matsuyama from Toyo port at 6.20 am.
